Come join us for an enlightening fire side chat,at Harvard, between two unique physicists – one a string theorist and a science writer and the other an experimental physicist who played a key role in the discovery of gravitational waves. They will share their emotional bond with physics and how it has shaped their career paths. They will trace the pivotal moments of modern physics when radical new theories shifted our perception of the universe, and our place in it. They will highlight experiments that promise to revolutionize our centuries-old ways of observing the universe. And they will address questions that are so dear to entrepreneurs: Can these super-sophisticated experiments yield techniques and technologies that can be commercialized? Can entrepreneurs apply principles involved in the pursuit of physics in finding insights about their businesses that are not very intuitive, thus fine-tuning business strategy?
